International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife 2020

This year has been designated by the World Health Organisation as the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife as a celebration of the amazing work that nurses and midwives do in our hospitals and in our communities.

About our Specialist Clinical Nurse

Patients who visit our Clinic for their post operative appointments are cared for by our amazing nurse Emma.  Emma attends to wound dressings, suture removal and gives advice on wound care and massage at these appointments.  She is also available to answer questions that patients may have regarding their recovery.  Emma also assists Mr Jarrett in theatre during patient operations.

As such we would like to recognise Emma’s value in our Clinic as part of International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife.  Thank you Emma for all that you do for our patients.

Others who deserve our recognition

Thank you also to all the fantastic nurses involved in our patient’s care at their admission, during their surgery and also afterwards when they are recovering on the wards at St John of God Hospital, Murdoch.
