“May 2016 News from the Clinic”

May 2016 was an exciting month with two member of our team completing several events.

Ironman 70.3 Busselton

Mr Paul Jarrett braved the 16 degree waters on Sunday 1st May 2016 for the swim of the Ironman 70.3 Busselton along with some colleagues from the Department of Hand Surgery at Fremantle Hospital completing the 1.9 km swim in 29 minutes.

HBF Run for a Reason

Jane Jenkins completed the HBF Run for a Reason Half Marathon on Sunday 22nd also this month.  After gale force winds on the Saturday Jane was pleased that the weather held and she was able to complete the 21.1km without any rain.  Jane finished in a time of 2hrs 8mins.  This is Jane’s first half marathon with more to come.
