Welcome Mikayla

She is two months into the role and is proving to be a wonderful asset to our team.

Our New Look Website

If you have visited the official Paul Jarrett Websiterecently you will have noticed our new look.

Our dedicated IT team has been hard at work behind the scenes to provide a website that is user-friendly and informative for our Clinic’s Patients and others interested in the range of Orthopaedic Services Paul treats at Murdoch.

We have also added a media section that includes all the latest Videos.

These Videos cover a range of Orthopaedic topics and conditions including Dupuytren’s Disease, Frozen Shoulder, Hand Ganglion, Rotator Cuff, Shoulder Impingement and Shoulder Instability.

If you are booked for surgery with Mr Jarrett, our Clinical Nurse, Emma Dariol has an informative video on Post Operative Care in which she talks about what to expect after surgery and in follow-up appointments.

AAPM & PMAANZ National Conference 2015

During the month of October 2015, Jane Jenkins was fortunate enough to go over to Tasmania, in order to attend the Australian Association of Practice Management, Managers & Administrators of New Zealand Combined International Conference in Hobart.

This was Jane’s first conference of this nature, and she was excited to take in as much as possible, learning from the extensive array of speakers that were on offer.

One of the first guest speakers was the amazing Turia Pitt – what an inspirational woman she is!

Jane left the auditorium feeling somewhat humbled and amazed at the resilience that some people show in the face of such life changing experiences.

The conference included an evening at MONA (The Museum of Old and New Art) viewing the interesting and unusual exhibits, networking together, and an evening at Government House.

The following days were packed with interesting seminars, covering topics such as privacy and confidentiality, IT security and issues, and staff support to name a few.

Jane hopes to implement some of the ideas into the Clinic over the coming months, and was very proud to be able to say “We do that – that is part of our approach”, sharing with others the standards that the Paul Jarrett Orthopaedic Clinic have in place.

Well done team.
